Two Pine Bluff men were killed in separate accidents This week according to the Arkansas State Police.

According to an Arkansas State Police report the first accident took place at 4:40 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 63 near Paper Mill Road when a 2007 Jeep Wrangler crossed the center line striking a 2005 Lexus driven by 39-year-old Lorandall Carter from Pine Bluff head on.

The driver of the Jeep was transported to Jefferson Regional for treatment while Carter was pronounced deceased at the scene by Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Eric Belcher at 6:08 a.m.

The second accident happened at 10:33 a.m. Thursday on Highway 365 near Highway 104.

According to an Arkansas State Police report this accident happened when 27-year-old Baraucus Brock was driving a 2007 Hyundai crossed the center line on Highway 365 striking a 2016 Chevrolet head on.

Brock was declared deceased at the scene, while the injured driver in the Chevrolet was transported to Jefferson Regional for treatment.

The Arkansas State Police reports that 402 people have died in crashes on Arkansas roads and highways so far in 2020.
