A two-vehicle accident in Bradley County Friday resulted in the death of two men and injuries to four others.
According to a preliminary report, Juan Manuel Medina, 40, and Cesar Figuerao-Gutirrez, 35, both of Warren were passengers in a 1993 Ford Van driven by Fidel Martinez-Calois, 45, of Warren that was traveling south on County Road 32 when the van entered an intersection into the path of a 2000 Volvo that was eastbound on Highway 278.
After the impact, both vehicles slid across the eastbound shoulder and came to rest in a ditch.
Martinez-Calois was injured as were three other passengers in the van, Humbeto Nepliceno Hernandez, 23, Eusebio Holz Hernandez, age unknown and a third man who was not identified in the preliminary report.
All of the injured were taken to the Drew County Medical Center for treatment.
The accident was reported at 7:30 a.m. and is still under investigation by the State Police.
