According to a press release a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old have been arrested in connection to the shooting and booked into the Jefferson County Juvenile Detention Center on charges of First Degree Battery.

A police report states the driver of a white Toyota Camry drove the victim to Jefferson Regional Hospital after the driver saw the victim laying on the ground near 1707 South Oak. The driver stopped to check on the victim where she noticed the victim was shot in the top of the head before transporting him to the hospital.
