A reported disturbance at a house on Dollarway Road Sunday afternoon resulted in the arrest of two people on drug related charges.
Sherry Aud, 64, and Harold James, 70, were taken into custody as a result of the search, Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said during a court hearing Wednesday.
Reading from an affidavit by White Hall Police Investigator Charles Treadway, Spradlin explained the allegation.
Spradlin said both Aud and James have prior felony convictions with Aud’s being several years old. James however is currently on parole.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $5,000 bond for Aud and a $10,000 bond for James after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge them with possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine.
They were told to come back to court Feb. 19.
