The Camden Police Department responded to a shooting on Sunday, November 3 at around 1:40 a.m. at Ivory Heights where a male victim was located. The victim, who suffered from apparent gunshot wounds, was airlifted to UAMS and later died from his injuries.
Following an investigation, Marcus Epps was identified as the lead suspect.
Officers went to a residence in Camden, where the homeowner, Trameisha Tooks, was noncompliant with the investigation, leading to a search warrant for her residence. During the search, officers found Epps and arrested him without incident.
Tooks was also arrested for hindering the apprehension of a Capital Murder suspect.
Authorities have not released the identity of the deceased man at this time.
