A pedestrian was killed and two others were injured Saturday night on Arkansas 8 in Johnsville near the Ashley and Bradley County line, according to a preliminary Arkansas State Police accident report.
Jennifer Denise Davidson, 40, of Fountain Hill, was killed in the accident. Jarvis Ramelle Miller, 44, and Marcus Darnell Miller, 41, both of Fountain Hill, were injured and transported to the Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
According to the accident report, the three pedestrians were in the westbound lane of the highway following an all-terrain vehicle accident when they were struck by a 2012 Dodge Ram truck. The driver of the truck was not identified in the accident report.
The accident occurred at 9:20 p.m. The weather was clear and the roadway was dry when the accident occurred, according to the report.
At least 245 people have been killed on Arkansas roads this year, according to preliminary figures.
