Ashcraft appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show where host Greg Horne said a lot of people now tend to shop on Amazon or go to the big city to shop but when they do. Money leaves the community.

Horne said some people believe they can save a dime on Amazon, but Amazon doesn’t sponsor that Little League team or support that basketball team or hundreds of other programs and pour money into youth organizations and more.

Horne noted that Southeast Arkansas is losing population and sending money out of town defeats the purpose of supporting the community.
