Less than a week after the first ever Astroworld Festival took place in his native Houston, Travis Scott announced that the event will return again next year. Scott took to his IG page to confirm that the festival has been confirmed for a 2019, with a caption that reads ““YESSIRRRR THIS IS ON THEY’RE WEBSITE I GOTTA GOOOO,” as well as posting a picture from the concert confirming that it was on for next year. 

The first Astroworld Festival was held on Nov. 17 at NRG Park in Houston. named for a closed Six Flag amusement park located across the street. Some 40,000 fans were on hand to watch Scott, Post Malone, Lil Wayne and Young Thug, among others, perform at the all-day event.
