The Pine Bluff Police Department has issuing a press release as they seek help from the community.

PBPD is asking the residents of Jefferson County to help in locating Toran Conaway AKA “Teezy”. Conaway is wanted for Capital Murder and Abuse of Corpse in reference to an incident that occurred on November 9, 2019 at 2306 East Pullen Street.

Officers of the Pine Bluff Police Department are in the early stages of investigating a suspicious circumstance. Officers were dispatched to the area of 2300 E. Pullen around 6:45 p.m., in reference to a vehicle on fire. Once officers were on scene and firemen of the Pine Bluff Fire Department had put the fire out on the vehicle, a body was found inside. The identity of the body was unknown at the time of this release.

It is still early in the investigation and the detectives are actively investigating as a homicide. There is no suspect information at this time. This will be the city’s 27th homicide.

Mr. Conaway is considered armed and dangerous. He is 6 feet tall, 280 lbs, has black hair and brown eyes. If you come in contact with him, please do not approach him, contact law enforcement.
