Tommy Lee‘s remix of “Tommy Lee” will arrive on Friday.
The original song, which dropped in June, was recorded by Tyla Yaweh and Post Malone. While several outlets reported that the Mötley Crüe drummer was playing on the track, Lee later clarified that he’s not included on the original recording, but was instead creating a remix.
You can listen to a short preview of the remix, which seems to include a prominent guitar riff, now via Lee’s Instagram page.
Lee previously told ABC Audio that his remix would appeal to Post’s well-documented love of metal and hard rock.
“He loves that stuff, so he’s gonna dig this,” Lee promised. “I know he’s gonna dig it.”
