Dave Mustaine has revealed the title of the next Megadeth album. Or at least until he changes his mind.
During a streaming event over the weekend, captured by a user on Reddit, Mustaine revealed that the “tentative” title of the upcoming record is The Sick, the Dying and the Dead. However, he cautioned that the band “may change that” before all’s said and done.
“There’s some other titles,” Mustaine said. “I usually change the titles four or five times before I settle on anything.”
The sickness theme may stem from Mustaine’s battle with throat cancer in 2019, not to mention the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Whatever the new album’s called, it’ll be the follow-up to 2016’s Dystopia.
