The Interim Director of the Pine Bluff Urban Renewal Agency, Chandra Griffin who joined the Oldies 101.3 Morning Show on November 30th, talked about the agency’s main focus right now which is redevelopment.

Griffin further elaborated about the market-rate housing that will be built where the old bingo building used to be located on 3rd and chestnut. She went on to explain what exactly market-rate housing is.

On another subject, in relation to the amount of litter in the community and changing the culture, Griffin explained how the agency is preparing to start with the youth.

Griffin stated that the agency’s goal for 2022 is to build up the downtown area to show the visible changes in the community. The agency commissioner’s monthly meeting for this month is on Tuesday, December 14th.
