The Pine Bluff Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) will host its first annual Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological, and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO).

ASC’s Public Programs Coordinator was invited to participate in the judging process beginning on April 28.

A call-for-entry was sent out to African American high school students who live in the Pine Bluff, Watson Chapel, Dollarway, and White Hall communities. This event’s purpose is to recognize Black excellence within our community.
