This year, you can celebrate Labor Day with Ozzy Osbourne.

A new documentary about the metal legend, titled Biography: The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne, will premiere September 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on A&E Network.

In a clip from the film, Ozzy’s wife Sharon explains how Ozzfest was created after Osbourne was rejected for a Lollapalooza lineup for not being “cool” enough.

“Yeah, let’s do our own f***ing thing,” Sharon recalls thinking. “And that’s how we came up with Ozzfest.”

In addition to the Osbourne family, The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne includes interviews with Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Korn‘s Jonathan Davis, Post Malone, producer Rick Rubin, and Ice-T.

You may recall that The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne was previously set to premiere at this year’s South by Southwest. Ozzy was even scheduled to speak about the film at a panel during the March festival with his son, Jack. However, the Osbournes pulled out of SXSW shortly before the entire event was shelved, marking one of the first major events canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
