The City of Pine Bluff Advancing Health Literacy Program to Host Spring Health Fair

The City of Pine Bluff Advancing Health Literacy Program is pleased to announce its Spring Health Fair which will take place on Thursday, March 24th from 10 am until 2 pm at the Pine Bluff Convention Center at 1 Convention Center Drive. The purpose of this fair is to educate the community on important health information and offer health services for individuals who are interested.

This health fair will include free health screenings and medical information provided by the Arkansas Minority Health Commission. COVID-19 vaccines administered by Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care (AFMC) will also be available for all ages and everyone that receives a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd dose will receive a $25 gift card. The fair will feature various partners including Jefferson Regional, Jefferson Comprehensive Care System Inc., Southeast Arkansas College (SEARK), the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB), the Arkansas Department of Health, and Pine Bluff Parks and Recreation, plus more.

Free giveaways will also take place during the fair with the chance to win gift cards starting at $25 to multiple establishments in Pine Bluff including Walmart, Red Lobster, Thunder Lanes, and more. The grand prize will be a $500 scholarship to SEARK. All participants must be present to win. Giveaway drawings will be held every 30 minutes beginning at 10:30 am. The fair will follow all COVID-19 safety guidelines.
