The Arts and Science Center of Southeast Arkansas has a few events planned as May progresses beginning with their Live @5 featuring The Dell Smith Experience on Friday, May 7th from 5-7 p.m. On Saturday, May 8th ASC hosts their Second monthly Family FunDay program which takes place from 1-3 p.m., and on Saturday, May 20th from 5-7 p.m. the center will feature an exhibition featuring the retrospective of North Little Rock artist Jerry Colburn’s works from 1995-2021.

Live @5 is hosted on the first Friday of every month featuring live jazz, blues, and rock & roll artist this event is for ages 21 and older. This Saturday’s Funday activities are free to the public and will feature creating no-sew sock animals.

The exhibition that takes place on the 20th, features Colburn’s inkblots, collages, and music, the ASC suggests that this exhibition will be an immersive experience for all audiences.

ASC is also preparing to host its first theater camp of the year for ages 12-17 from June 7th-June 8th. The camp will have a 15 student max with the cost of $300 for ASC members and $340 for nonmembers.
