The Arts and Science Center (ASC) for Southeast Arkansas located at 701 S Main St. in Pine Bluff has planned in-person and virtual events to take place in April.

The first virtual theatrical production of the year, ‘Mirror, Mirror on the Wall: A Virtual Fractured Fairy Tale’ will stream from April 1-4. The production has a full cast of Southeast Arkansas youth with ticket prices just $10 for non ASC members and $7 for members.

Also, for the first time since March 2020, the ASC is hosting its Live@5 concert series to showcase jazz, blues, and rock music from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 2.

Delta musician Dave Sadler will perform Friday, April 2, as part of the series. Sadler actively plays alongside the Port City Blues Society Players and other area musicians. Entry is $5 for ASC members and $10 for nonmembers.

The ASC will also host its second Saturday Family Fun Day on Saturday, April 10, from 12:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. The program will be offered in-person and virtually. Online participants can pick up their supplies Friday, April 9, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. or Saturday, April 10, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the ASC’s main entrance.

An instructional video will be streamed on the center’s Facebook page Saturday, April 10, at 1 p.m.
