A Texas man was killed in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 30 in Malvern Sunday afternoon.
According to a preliminary report, Peter Roshdi Fahim, 31, was eastbound on the interstate when the Volvo Tractor trailer he was driving side swiped the side of a 2009 Chrysler 300 that was parked and unattended on the shoulder of the roadway.
After impact, the Volvo left the roadway, hit the tree line and overturned, overturned, ejecting the driver.
The death was the 291st so far this year on the state’s highways.
