Tasha Cobbs Leonard‘s mission to praise the Lord in her music continues with her new single, “The Moment.” Released Friday, the song encourages people to embrace the moment in which God calls them to turn to Him.
“Don’t miss this moment/You’ve been waiting for a long time/Lift your hands now/Right after you wipe your eyes,” Tasha sings. “You’ve been singing/ Come by here my Lord/ Open your heart now/Jesus has been knocking on the door.”
“The Moment” serves as a teaser for Tasha’s upcoming live album, due out October 7. The project, titled Hymn, will feature reimagined versions of her favorite hymns, as well as collaborations with Kierra Sheard, Natalie Grant, Mary Mary, The Walls Group, Ricky Dillard and Donald Lawrence.
Tasha also plans to celebrate her new LP with performances at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and Tabernacle in Atlanta. More information on the shows can be found on tashacobbsleonard.com.
