As the investigation continues into the tragic Astroworld festival that has resulted in eight deaths, several artists are expressing their sadness, including SZA, who performed during the event.

“Speechless about last night I’m actually in shock n don’t even know what to say .. just praying for everyone in Houston especially the families of those that lost their lives,” the Oscar and Grammy nominee tweeted.

In addition to being featured Friday at Astroworld, SZA also brought the festival organizer and headliner, Travis Scott, on stage during her November 3 show at Warehouse Live in Houston to perform their 2017, five-times platinum hit, “Love Galore.”

Kid Cudi was also deeply affected by the tragedy.”My heart goes out to the families who lost a loved one last night and everyone who was injured,” he tweeted

Like many artists, Kehlani and Trey Songz, are praying for the victims.

“Not enough prayers in the world for the families of these kids and the kids themselves,” Kehlani wrote on Twitter. “This should never ever ever happen in a million years.”

“Heart goes out for the lives lost and all those affected by what took place in Houston,” Trey tweeted. “It’s all so unimaginable and very sad. Prayers up.”

As previously reported, Scott will issue full refunds for attendees who bought tickets to the event. Festival performer Roddy Rich also announced he is donating his “net compensation to the families of this incident.”

Scott was scheduled to headline this weekend’s Day N Vegas Festival, however, he has cancelled his performance.

In statements on social media, Scott said he was “absolutely devastated” by what happened and is “working closely with everybody to get to the bottom of this.”

Two concertgoers have already filed lawsuits in the festival’s aftermath as of early Monday.
