On September 2, 2024, 27-year-old Chaderious Avery was arrested in Seagoville, Texas. Avery will be extradited back to Pine Bluff for:
– Attempted Capital Murder
– Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons
– Terroristic Act
– Engaging in a Violent Criminal Act
Avery was wanted for the October 5, 2023 shooting in the parking lot of the Camelot Apartment (4001 Old Warren Road), where a Pine Bluff Police Officer’s patrol vehicle was struck while being occupied. The officer sustained minor injuries in this incident but was not shot.
Detectives earlier arrested 24-year-old Quantarious Sission for the attempted capital murder. Sission was apprehended near the area of Camelot Apartments.
Detectives at the time also identified the 27-year-old Avery in connection with this incident.
