Several police officers were shot in a trailer park south of Auburn, Alabama late Sunday night. Lee County Coroner Bill Harris confirmed one of the officers was killed, and two others were wounded, at least one critically. No identities were released.

According to reports, the suspect, Grady Wayne Wilkes, was in custody Monday morning.  The state of Alabama had issued an Emergency BLUE Alert asking for the public’s help in finding Wilkes. Authorities said the 29-year-old was believed to be a serious risk to the public. On Monday morning, the Auburn University Department of Campus Safety and Security said on Twitter that the suspect was in custody.
