Deputies were dispatched to a shooting that occurred near Whiteville Rd. at 1:11 p.m where 51-year-old Tony Jones was killed. A suspect identified as 29-year-old Zackary Vermillion has been arrested and charged with First Degree Murder.
The investigation is ongoing according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
