Ronnie James Dio‘s birthday will be celebrated this year with a streaming event.

The virtual show will take place July 10, which would’ve marked the late metal icon’s 79th birthday. It’ll raise money for the Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund, a charity founded in Dio’s memory following his death from stomach cancer in 2010.

Artists including Black Sabbath‘s Tony Iommi, Deep Purple‘s Glenn Hughes, current Guns N’ Roses drummer Frank Ferrer, former GN’R guitarist Gilby Clarke, Lita Ford, Foreigner/ex-Dio bassist Jeff Pilson, former Quiet Riot bassist Rudy Sarzo, drumming brothers Carmine and Vinnie Appice, and various alums of the Dio band will take part in “special guest performances, interviews and birthday messages” during the stream.

The event will air via the streaming platform Rolling Live Studios. Select ticket packages include an advance copy of Dio’s upcoming Rainbow in the Dark autobiography, autographed by his widow, Wendy Dio. The book will be officially released July 27.
