Stone Temple Pilots cancel tour dates due to positive COVID-19 testThu, November 11, 2021 by ABC NewsSHARE NOW Scott Legato/Getty ImagesHomeMusicRockStone Temple Pilots cancel tour dates due to positive COVID-19 testStone Temple Pilots have canceled two upcoming tour dates due someone within the band’s “organization” testing positive for COVID-19.“During routine Covid-19 testing of our band and crew, we have discovered that a member of our organization has tested positive for the virus,” reads an Instagram post from the “Plush” rockers. The affected dates include STP’s set at the Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona, Florida, as well as a headlining performance this weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Fortunately — or as fortunate as this kind of thing can be — the canceled shows were the last two dates on STP’s fall tour.“Thank you to everyone that came out to see us this fall, it was wonderful to see all of your beautiful faces in person again,” the band says. “We hope to be able to do this again with you all very soon.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Stone Temple Pilots (@stpband)Copyright © 2021, ABC Audio.
