State Farm insurance Agent Kevin Bonnette on Wednesday said he had personally had 30 to 40 separate calls about damage that resulted from the storm Sunday night.

Speaking on the morning show with Greg and Will, Bonnette said “there is a lot of damage, a lot of trees down but it’s not like the hail storm in 2018 when we had 4,000 to 5,000 claims. Everybody got hit.”

Asked what a person should do if they have damage, Bonnette was quick to suggest calling a local agent.

“Hopefully you have a local agent you deal with,” he said. “Somebody that is there for you and you can call locally but if not, call the insurance company.”

He said some things will be covered and others will not and an agent can tell you which is which.
