All three Star City schools have been recognized by the Office of Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas as schools where students demonstrated growth on the ACT Aspire.

In a letter published in the Lincoln County Ledger newspaper, School Superintendent Jordan Frizzell said OEP creates an annual report recognizing schools with high student growth.

“I know we are never where we want to be and are in constant pursuit of getting better and being the best but there is always a time to look at the progress we have made and are continuing to strive for,” Frizzell said.  “I am proud of these accomplishments and look forward to continue to work with staff to continue the growth that our students deserve. My hat is off to all our schools and staff who work hard behind the scenes and in the daily grind to ensure student success.”
