There is a lot of excitement building around the kickoff of the high school football season. Nowhere is it more evident than at Sheridan. The Yellowjacket games will be heard on Deltaplex Radio on Oldies 101.3 FM.
Stan Hancock played for the ‘Jackets and will be the Color Commentator for Deltaplex Radio along side Play By Play man Liam Jackson again this season. He was a guest on Sunrise Deltaplex and was asked about some of the changes in the facilities, including the addition of a new playing surface.
The excitement in Sheridan is not only on the field, but in the administration as well, as new Superintendent Dr. Karla Neathery comes aboard.
The Yellowjackets have struggled on the field lately, but Hancock says he senses a new air of confidence.
A new scoreboard will welcomes fans to the games this year as well
The Yellowjackets open the season on Friday, August 26th, when they host rival White Hall.
