Athletic programs that began at Southeast Arkansas College (SEARK) with baseball and softball in the spring of 2023 ramped up this year with the addition of men’s and women’s basketball and that has helped to increase enrollment at the school.
Appearing on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show, John Proctor who provides recruiting services at SEARK talked about how athletics helped.
Morning Show host Greg Horne noted that it was not just basketball that was added.
Horne said the financial part of college can be overwhelming and Dennis Johnson, who works in financial aid at SEARK responded this way.
