Jefferson County Sheriff Lafayette Woods Jr. has filed suit against County Judge Gerald Robinson and members of the Quorum Court over money he said he needs to operate the juvenile detention center.
Appearing on the Oldies 1013 morning show Tuesday, Woods was asked what he was trying to gain?

He said, unlike some other county entities, the adult jail and juvenile detention center don’t shut down. They operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Woods went on to say that there was actually $328,000 that was shorted in his requested budget for this year.
