Jefferson County Sheriff’s investigators are continuing their efforts to identify two men who allegedly broke into a house on Ashley Road Wednesday.
Appearing on the Oldies 1013 morning show Thursday, Sheriff Lafayette Woods Jr., was asked about the investigation.
Woods said typically, burglars don’t want to be seen by victims and commit the crime when no one Is at home.
According to a press release, the suspects left the residence in a white four-door automobile.
Woods said investigators believe that the suspects specifically targeted the house and at this point, it is unknown exactly what the suspects were looking for of if they found it.
