The Sheridan School District has announced they will transition to AMI days for the remainder of this week due to a surge in COVID numbers.

The district sent the following message to parents Monday afternoon:

SSD families: Due to a sharp rise in COVID cases and quarantined students and faculty, the Sheridan School District will utilize alternative methods of instruction (AMI) for the next four days.

Learning will be virtual during this time.

School was already scheduled to be closed on Monday, Jan. 17, so students and faculty will return to campus on Tuesday, Jan. 18.

More information will be sent regarding meals during this time.
