Second Division Circuit Judge Rob Wyatt was the guest on the Oldies 1013 morning show Wednesday and morning show host Greg Horne told him that previous guests, including the sheriff, former sheriff who is now count judge and three police chiefs have all said that bail amounts in Pine Bluff and Jefferson County are too low. What do you say to those statements.
Wyatt went on to say this.
He said two district judges, Kim Bridgforth and John Kearney set the bond amounts and was asked by Horne if he thought those two were doing a good job.
Wyatt was given a hypothetical situation where a person who had committed a crime and was out on bond, then committed another crime and was asked if their previous bond was then revoked or if that person was simply given a second bond for the offense and allowed to be free again.
