Pine Bluff Interested Citizens for Voter Registration, Inc. (PBICVR) announces its second annual Shoes for Kids Drive.  The goal is to collect 250 pairs of new and gently used shoes for needy children.

The community is asked to help collect shoes which can be dropped off at the PBICVR Office.  They are located in Suite 109 of the Donald W. Reynolds Community Services Center at 211 West Third Avenue in Pine Bluff, AR.

“We ask the community to help us collect new shoes for kids who live in foster homes or shelters,” Derrick L. Newby Sr., president of PBICVR said in a news release.  “We will accept all sizes and colors, girls and boys, to include newborn, youngsters not yet walking and shoes for elementary, junior high and high school youngsters.”

Shoes will be distributed on Saturday, December 22, 2018 before the Christmas holiday.  After Christmas, the Shoes for Kids Drive will continue through the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday, January 21, 2019, which completes their first month of service for 2019.
