According to a news release, Southeast Arkansas College (SEARK) is happy to announce the launch of its fully redesigned website . When setting the fiscal year 2020 budget, a website redesign was a top priority for SEARK in order to best serve its constituents.

“Our website is often the first place prospective students look to discover if SEARK is the right option for their academic investment,” says Acting Vice President of Academic Affairs Gina Teel. “We are excited to enhance our online presence and offer a more effective tool for those seeking information about SEARK and the programs we offer students and the community.”

Beyond a sleek new aesthetic, the site is now mobile-friendly with ease of access, the press release said. Content is presented in a way that is easy to navigate from multiple devices.

“In this day and age, people want information that is easily accessible and at their fingertips,” says Teel. “Not only does a mobile and tablet friendly site offer that convenience, but it also presents the content in a way that is straightforward and easy to grasp from almost anywhere.”

Furthermore, the website is up to date with current information and links to get users to where they need to go and to contact who they need to contact.

“The website should reflect the same standard of care we practice face-to-face on campus,” says SEARK President Steven Bloomberg. “Providing prompt and accurate information that best serves the needs and goals of those we interact with.”
