GoForward Pine Bluff hosted the 2021 ‘Blues Batter and Brew’ Fest featuring live performances and also local vendors and organizations including SEARK College on Saturday, June 20th. Deltaplex had a chance to talk with the Vice President of Student Affairs Lozanne Calhoun, who described her role at the fest which involved giving the community information about the College.
Last weekend, on June 12th, SEARK College hosted a Summer Fest, which is similar to what GoForward Fest offered to the community, to open their campus up. Calhoun elaborated on that event and more of what they have to offer.
Calhoun also spoke on how the college adapted well to the pandemic circumstances and encouraged students to return to campus for fall.
