According to an Arkansas State Police report, Sally Ann Essey, 63, was traveling east on Arkansas 114 at 1 p.m. on July 20th when she lost control of her vehicle in a curve. The vehicle crossed the centerline before leaving the south side of the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned. Essey was transported to UAMS Medical Center where she later died.
At least 250 people have died as a result of accidents on Arkansas roads this year.
