The Saracen Casino and Resort’s will open its doors October 20, 2020. Carlton Saffa announced the opening date of the casino which as been years in the planning earlier today. The structure will have 700 tons of steel, 19 miles of underground electrical materials and finishes sourced from across the world. The resort , casino and restaurants are expected to employee 1100 people.
Saracen will have “soft” openings for people who have worked on the project. Saffa said the purpose of soft openings is to learn about any issues and fix those before the grand opening October 20. The “soft” open dates will begin October 15. Saffa stressed that not everything will be up and running at the same time until the 20th, but said the casino will be fully operational on the Grand opening October 20th, outside of 2 restaurants. Five of the seven restaurants will be open on the grand opening date. The buffet will not be open or The Red Oak Steakhouse. Saffa said ” You don’t have a second chance to make a first impression, and we won’t open Red Oak until we are certain that it will be your best dining experience in the state. We will be open with Red Oak this calendar year.”
