Saracen Cinema 8, which was recently evicted from their space in the Pines Mall, has satisfied all requirements of the eviction notice, and is open for business once again.

Steven Mays, Jr – Chief Operating Officer of Saracen 8 Cinema – posted on social media that the Cinema is now open for business.

Rumors on social media have also stated that the Pines Mall is for sale on the website Loopnet.com, however those rumors are false. The former Walmart building, however, is up for sale with an asking price of $1,803,860.00,

The advertisement lists the building as a 90,193 square foot building that can be subdivided. The building is contiguous to the Pines Mall, and close to various retailers including Lowes, Dillards, and across from the forthcoming Saracen Casino Resort with easy access from I-530.

The advertisement states that the building could be used for uses other than retail, including industrial usage, medical offices, call centers, or other uses.

There are several liens currently held against owners James Vu, John Vu and Thuythien (Judy) Vu, DBA Pines Mall, according to documents obtained by Deltaplex News. 10 total liens are currently held against the Pines Mall with a total amount of $24.257.42 owed. The first lien being issued on June 30, 2017, while the most recent lien was filed on Jan. 15, 2019.
