The 5/8th cent sales tax, commonly called the Go Forward Sales Tax was initially approved by city voters in 2017 and on Monday, Go Forward CEO Ryan Watley was asked how much money the tax brings in each year.
Watley appeared on the Oldies 1013 morning show and was asked if he would like to see the tax increase or decrease.
He went on to say the 3/8th cent tax would not sunset but would continue to be collected.
