Rush frontman Geddy Lee is among the music stars that will be appear on From Cradle to Stage, the Dave Grohl-directed TV series based on the 2017 book of the same name written by the Foo Fighters frontman’s mother, Virginia Hanlon Grohl.

The six-part series is set to premiere May 6 on the Paramount+ streaming service, and will air new episodes each week. Each installment will find the two Grohls interviewing another famous musician and their mother.

The premiere episode will feature Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds and his mom, Christene Reynolds, while other artists set to appear on the show with their mothers are Rage Against the Machine‘s Tom Morello, Pharrell Williams, Brandi Carlile and Miranda Lambert.

The book From Cradle to Stage consists of Virginia Grohl interviewing the moms of musicians including R.E.M.‘s Michael Stipe, Beastie BoysMike D, the HAIM sisters, Amy Winehouse, Dr. Dre and Maroon 5‘s Adam Levine.

Before From Cradle to Stage arrives, you’ll be able to check out another Dave Grohl-directed project: What Drives Us, a documentary film about van touring culture.

What Drives Us will premiere April 30 as part of The Coda Collection, a new, music-focused subscription streaming channel on Amazon Prime Video.
