Two students at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff were arrested Thursday after police found suspected marijuana, digital scales, and a handgun in their dorm room.

Maurice Huntley, 20, and Erikton Goodloe, 20, were taken into custody after Tri-County Drug Rask Force investigators and Arkansas State Police investigators met with the resident manager of the Johnny B. Johnson residence hall in reference to reports of an odor of suspected marijuana coming from a dorm room, and possible sales of marijuana from that room.

Deputy Prosecutor Mircha King on Friday said Huntley and Goodloe occupied that room.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $5,000 bond for Goodloe after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with possession of a controlled substance with the purpose to deliver. The same bond was set for Huntley who will also be charged with possession of a handgun on school property.
