ACT Aspire test score updates were a focal point of Thursday night’s White Hall School Board meeting. Principals from each building within the White Hall district shared information on test scores from students within their buildings, and those scores were very good for the district.

Scores were either at or above the state average in many of the buildings. Superintendent Gary Williams spoke about the scores following the meeting.

The Board passed an incentive for district employees that will provide a $5000 for certified employees, $2500 for classified employees, and $1200 for part time classified employees.

Williams gave a full description of the breakdown of the incentives for employees.

Williams also said that the district has seen vast improvements in janitorial services since a White Hall graduate took over as on site supervisor for SSC Services, the company that provides janitorial services for the district.

Williams also spoke about increased security measures that have been added to the district.
