Pine Bluff Police are investigating the first homicide of 2021. The body of a currently unidentified black male was found at 29th Avenue and Linden street.
after police received a call at 12:14 pm. Deputy coroner Eric Belcher pronounced the victim dead at 1:57 pm. The cause of death was listed as gunshot wounds. No suspects are in custody and no motive has been established. Anyone with information should contact the detective division or the dispatch center. This was the first homicide in pine bluff in 42 days.
