Port City Blues Society to host new concert series beginning November 6th in Pine Bluff

The Port City Blues Society will host a concert with the Chad Marshall Band on November 6, 2021 at 9 p.m. The show will be hosted at Hot Rods, located at 201 South Main in Pine Bluff.

Port City Blues Society board member George Scaife said the organization would like to host monthly blues concerts in Pine Bluff, and this concert will be a test to see what kind of reaction they will receive.

Scaife said that they hope to use the concert series to draw more people to the downtown Pine Bluff area on the weekends, and will focus on the delta blues.

Scaife also mentioned why the delta blues is the focus of the concert series and the Port City Blues Society.

The charge for the concert is $5 for non-members of the Port City Blues Society. Members will be granted free admission when they present their membership cards at the door.

The Port City Blues Society also hosts a weekly jam session each Wednesday night at Hot Rods located at 201 South Main in Pine Bluff. The jam is held from 8 p.m.-11 p.m. Any musicians and singers are encouraged to take part. CLICK HERE to learn more.
