According to KATV.com, police are warning consumers about skimming devices that have been found on ATM machines in central Arkansas recently.

Victims have received text messages about fraudulent activity on their credit or debit cards, according to police.

Police say that if you receive a text message about fraudulent charges, do not press any keys to respond, but contact your bank immediately.

North Little Rock police are not currently investigating any skimmer fraud cases, but the department wanted to warn the public about independent ATMs in gas stations, grocery stores, and more.
