Reported crime in White Hall has been at a low rate for a number of years and appearing on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show last week, Police Chief Mickey Buffkin talked about some of the reasons why.

Buffkin appeared on the show Thursday, a rainy day and Morning Show host Greg Horne noted that, saying that even though it was raining, police officers still had to get out and patrol.

Buffkin was asked about what would happen if those workers decided to stay home too since they were not getting paid and had their been talk  about White Hall or other agencies stepping in to fill the void.
