A 20-year-old Pine Bluff man is in police custody after he was identified as a suspect in a 2023 shooting incident that left one person dead.
Dillen Christian Finch was booked into the adult detention center early Thursday morning on charges of capital murder and theft by receiving.
He was accused of being involved in a shooting incident on West 17th Avenue in July 2023 where a house was shot up and three people were injured.
One of them, identified as Vaniya Bennett, 14, died.
Police said Finch was identified as a suspect, but investigators had to wait on the results of a DNA match to begin surveillance which before making the arrest.
Police said two other suspects were previously arrested in connection with the incident.
