Planning is underway for a Chick-fil-A in Pine Bluff, sources have confirmed to Deltaplex News.
The location is expected to be at the south intersection of US Highway 63 and I-530 between the southbound entrance ramp for I-530 and the Southern Edge truck stop.
Sources tell Deltaplex News that Go Forward Pine Bluff, Mayor Shirley Washington, and Community Development have been working to make this happen.
A popular location on the campus of UAPB also helped to show interest from Pine Bluff, according to sources.
No date for groundbreaking has been provided as the Planning Commission must approve all plans before construction can move forward.
