According to a press release, the Pine Bluff Police Department is investigating a Thursday evening shooting that left one person dead.
On Thursday around 5:15pm, officers responded to 3800 West 14th Avenue in reference to someone being shot. A male was transported to the hospital. The male died of his injuries. The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Samario Shaw.
A possible suspect was apprehended and taken to the detective office for questioning. This is Pine Bluff’s 23rd homicide of the year. Charges have not yet been filed due to lack of evidence. This investigation is in the early stages. No other information is known at this time.
